Prize Tournament At KAS / KBC, 2017

At the Kingdom Arts & Sciences and Bardic Championships, the Kingdom's best and most talented artisans and bards will meet to determine who will be the Kingdom Champions. This Championship is being hosted by the Mighty Barony of Dragon's Laire, whose wise Baron Conchobar and beautiful B...aroness Eilidh understand that there must be some relief from the intense intellectual and artistic struggles taking place over the course of the weekend. His Excellency Conchobar specifically invites the Armored Fighters of An Tir to meet him in a Prize Tournament upon the grounds of the A&S and Bardic Championships.
This Tournament allows for those who feel the need for fresh air during the day and the sounds of battle. This is an opportunity to prepare for the magnificent WARS that are being planned for later this year. This is YOUR opportunity to loosen the armor and improve the skill that may have, settled, over the long winter months.

This Tournament will be fought no matter what the weather. If the weather is pleasant the Tournament will be held on the magnificent grounds overlooking the waters of Agate Pass. If the weather is foul, the Clearwater Casino has graciously allowed us to utilize space in the covered Parking Garage in which to hold the Tournament.

Additionally, His Excellency Conchobar MacEoin has declared that there shall be PRIZES for those who prove their mettle and chivalry upon the field of battle.
Lists open at 11AM on Saturday, March 11th. Armor inspection begins at 11:30AM. The Tournament itself will begin at NOON. Information will be posted at gate as to exact location to meet.

Following the Tournament of Armored Fighters, there shall be a RAPIER TOURNAMENT. This is being hosted by THL Andrew Crowe, OWS, the Rapier Champion of The Principality of The Summits. "This is the first place prize for the heavy prize tourney at KA&S. the handle is made of Brass, elk horn and blood wood. The blade is 12" long and the overall length is 17 1/4". It is handmade by His Excellency Conchobar of Dragon's Laire. If the winner desires I can make a custom persona appropriate sheath."
